Why beef served at Amanah convention with Hindus and Buddhists present, asks Mujahid

SHAH ALAM: If Parti Amanah Negara wants to be an inclusive party, we must think before serving beef when there are Hindus and Buddhists present, says its vice president Datuk Seri Mujahid Yusof Rawa (pic).
"I am ashamed that we say Parti Amanah Negara is an inclusive party but we serve beef to our delegates when we know there will be non-Muslims among them. I apologise to all the Hindus and Buddhists present for such treatment.
"The non-Muslims in our party are not mere supporters, but full members of the party," said Mujahid during the winding-up session of the Amanah National Convention 2019 here on Sunday (Dec 8).
The three-day convention held here was attended by delegates of all races and religions from around the country.
The menu for the three days included beef dishes, and the dishes were not labelled.
During the winding-up session, a few delegates also raised the issue that no non-Muslims were voted into the main leadership council.- Star

  1. Why not serve pork at the Amanah convention, then apologise to the Muslims later on for the mistake ?
