KOTA KINABALU: A memo claiming that the 32-storey Sabah State Administrative Centre (PPNS) will be closed (March 16) for health workers to disinfect the building is fake.
When contacted, Sabah state secretary Datuk Safar Untong said that PPNS will operate as usual.
An unsigned memo allegedly issued at 8pm Sunday (March 15) by the state secretary's office went viral on social media, claiming that the one-day closure of the building was because one of its maintenance workers was found Covid-19 positive.
The building houses the Chief Minister's office among other state departments and agencies. - Star
