PUTRAJAYA: The Health Ministry and Education Ministry will meet on Tuesday to discuss plans on reopening schools.
"We will be meeting with the Education Ministry and we will be discussing the suitable date for implementing this (reopening), said Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
"We will give at least two weeks' (notice) for parents to make the necessary preparations for their children to return to schools.
"We will be prioritising Form 5 and Form 6 students, before allowing all students to return.
"That is the plan, and we will discuss it in greater detail at our meeting," he said in his daily press briefing on Monday (June 8). - Star
