PPBM women’s wing shortlists 10 for Sabah polls

Srikandi chief Rina Harun says the list of potential candidates has been sent to PPBM president Muhyiddin Yassin.

TAWAU: PPBM women’s wing Srikandi has shortlisted 10 members for the coming Sabah election.

Its chief Rina Harun said the list has been sent to party president Muhyiddin Yassin for consideration.

“I have sent the names of potential women candidates from the party to contest in the election. The decision will be made by the party president,” she told reporters at a dinner in conjunction with the Srikandi Bersatu Sentuhan Kasih programme here last night.

Rina said the PPBM women’s wing in the state, under the leadership of Azizah Mohd Dun, is prepared for the polls on Sept 26. - FMT
