Wisma Darul Iman closes for 3 days due to Covid-19

 

COVID-19 | Wisma Darul Iman will be closed for three days starting today after its staff had close contact with Covid-19 patients.

Terengganu state secretary Mohd Zahari Md Azahar said that all state government employees will be allowed to work from home during the temporary closure period to enable the disinfection process to be carried out throughout the building.

“Therefore, people who have any important business with government departments at Wisma Darul Iman need to contact the relevant staff for more information because we want the disinfection process to run smoothly,” he said when contacted by Bernama today.

He said all staff must comply with the standard operating procedures (SOPs) set by the National Security Council and the Health Ministry.

“All staff must be at their respective homes during the working period and are required to return to work, as usual, starting this Sunday (Oct 11),” he said.

Meanwhile, state Welfare, Women, Family Development and National Unity Committee chairperson Hanafiah Mat said the Permata childcare operating at the building was also temporarily closed for three days.

“The childcare centre has about 60 children whose parents are staff at Wisma Darul Iman,” he said.
