PUTRAJAYA: All nine districts in Selangor have become Covid-19 red zones as of Monday (Dec 28).
Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said that Hulu Selangor, Kuala Selangor and Sabak Bernam, which were previously green zones had now become red zones.
On Monday, Selangor recorded a total of 697 new Covid-19 cases, with no imported cases detected.
Of this total, the Health Ministry said the highest number of infections was in the Hulu Langat district with 328 new cases, followed by Klang (157) and Petaling (89).
Kuala Selangor, Sabak Bernam and Hulu Selangor recorded 43, eight and seven cases, respectively.
