A landslide in Damansara Utama this afternoon severed a water pipeline there, causing an unscheduled water supply disruption to 43 areas in the Petaling region of Selangor.
In a statement, Air Selangor said it has taken efforts to rectify the situation.
“Air Selangor has commenced the work to repair the broken pipe.
“However, the time of completion of the said repair works has yet to be determined, and consumers will be updated from time to time,” it said last night.
The affected areas are as follows:

Meanwhile in a separate statement, Air Selangor said it has completed emergency repair works for a broken pipe at the Persiaran Tengku Ampuan Roundabout, Seksyen 15, Shah Alam.
It said the repairs were completed at 9pm and it started channelling water through the pipe at 9.30pm.
Water supply is expected to be fully restored to the affected areas by noon tomorrow.
A total of 58 areas in Klang and Shah Alam, and 72 areas in Petaling were affected after a pipe burst in Shah Alam. - Mkini
