The Sabah government is drafting a five-year development strategy to revive the state’s economy and promote the socio-economic welfare of the people.
Chief Minister Hajiji Noor said in a statement today the new strategic development plan, themed ‘Sabah Maju Jaya’. would be launched soon after incorporating views and inputs gathered from engagements with key stakeholders.
“The development plan will outline a realistic and comprehensive approach for the state,” he added.
Earlier today, Hajiji chaired a meeting on the draft of the strategic development plan and listened to a briefing by the Sabah State Public Service Department (JPAN) at the Sabah State Administrative Centre in Kota Kinabalu.
Also present were Sabah state secretary Safar Untong; JPAN director-general Rosmadi Sulai and permanent secretaries of all the state’s ministries.
