Who got the addendum, who didn't?
The royal addendum granting Najib Abdul Razak house arrest remains a hot potato for Putrajaya.
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim confirmed that the addendum was sent to the attorney-general, but that the latter had passed the matter on to the current Yang di-Pertuan Agong.
Anwar said he himself did not receive the addendum.
The Pardons Board secretariat and Federal Territories Minister Dr Zaliha Mustafa also said they did not get the letter
The denials, remarks from government lawyers, and Anwar's clarification on the matter appear to indicate that the decree was issued outside of the Pardons Board meeting which reduced Najib’s punishment. - Mkini
