Muhyiddin’s formula for victory

Pakatan Harapan deputy president tells members to follow orders of the leaders to win in GE14.
muhyidinSHAH ALAM: Pakatan Harapan deputy president Muhyiddin Yassin today shared what he believes to be the ingredients the coalition needs to win in the coming general election (GE14).
At Pakatan Harapan’s 2018 convention at the Ideal Convention Centre (IDCC) here, Muhyiddin said the first was that PH needed to believe in what it was fighting for.
“Be confident that you are on the right path.
“Do not second guess your mission: to save Malaysians from a kleptocratic government.”
The second, he said, was to follow the orders of the leaders.
“A general election is thought of as a war and in war you must carry out the commands of your superiors to the best of your abilities.”
The third ingredient for success, he said, was to fight to the very end.
“Many refer to GE14 as the mother of all elections. Do not be afraid and do not falter. Fight to your last breath.
“Najib, on the other hand, is shaking. That’s why he still hasn’t called for elections.”
Muhyiddin said it was also important that regardless of which party ends up contesting where, every party must support each other.
“Regardless of who it is, that party is representing Pakatan Harapan.
“The candidates were chosen after much negotations within the coalition and you must accept and support whoever it is that contests for the coalition.
“Similarly, we will choose the best candidate we can for all the seats we end up contesting and we will contest every single seat there is to contest.
“It doesn’t matter whether that candidate is from PPBM, DAP, PKR or Amanah. We will support them.”
At the convention, PH announced that its chairman, Dr Mahathir Mohamad, will be interim prime minister and his deputy will be PH president Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail. -FMT
