Poor People In Malaysia Are Stealing Food From Shops

I hope you can catch this video because I dont have a YouTube or other link. The video shows a fellow stealing three bags of rice from a shop. He runs out and an accomplice is waiting on a motorbike and they ride off.

The guys are most likely Malay boys. They have planned this well. Obviously they are not stealing for money, ie to sell the rice and use the money to buy drugs or whatever.

Three bags of rice (say 5kg) non Basmathi will hardly cost about RM40.00. (Jasmine Super Special Tempatan rice, 5kg costs RM12.90 at Tesco. You can check it online.) That is not worth much to steal from a shop.  Obviously these fellows are stealing about RM40.00 worth of rice to feed themselves and/or  their families.

Ordinary, everyday people are finding it very difficult to make ends meet.

If the BN wins the elections, things will get tougher. The poor are going to get poorer. The Malay folks and the bumiputeras are going to find life hardest on them.

Folks, change the government.
