THE Mahathir regime’s decision to ignore court rulings and take illegal delivery of the Equanimity is proof that the new prime minister has no interest in fairness and justice, says the owner of the famous yacht.

Low Taek Jho, through his lawyer, said in a statement today that by choosing to take the asset unlawfully, Dr Mahathir Mohamad showed he cared only about “his absolute political rule.”

“The yacht’s owner, Equanimity Cayman Limited, had already filed a claim on this asset, which Mahathir ignores. Further proceedings have been issued today in response to this illegal act,” said Low in the statement.
