A Malaysia Airports Sdn Bhd manager has been arrested on suspicion of corruption and abuse of power involving shop lots at airports nationwide.
A source said the 50-year old suspect received monthly kickbacks ranging from RM500 to RM10,000 from leaseholders as an inducement for approving and renewing leases for the shop lots.
“The suspect is expected to be remanded in Shah Alam court tomorrow to assist investigations,” the source said.
The suspect was arrested at the Selangor MACC headquarters at about 1.15pm today when he came to assist investigations on the case. -Mkini
