The PKR president says which seat has yet to be determined.
KUALA LUMPUR: PKR president Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail today confirmed that the party’s de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim would run for a seat in Parliament although which seat has yet to be determined.
“InsyaAllah, he will contest for a seat in Parliament. It just depends on which seat,” she said when met at the Parliament lobby today.
Last night, Anwar won the party presidency unchallenged although he has yet to officially win the post as an auditor needs to be appointed by the new party leadership.
This will be done on Aug 19.
