PETALING JAYA: Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has met Dr Sahruddin Jamal, the newly minted Johor Mentri Besar at his office on Thursday.
This was revealed in Dr Mahathir's Facebook page.
"This is (Dr Mahathir's) first meeting with Dr Sahruddin since his swearing-in on April 14," the Facebook page read on Thursday (April 18).
Dr Sahruddin, a first-term Bukit Kepong assemblyman, was sworn in as the 17th Johor Mentri Besar on April 14.
He officially started work at the the mentri besar’s office in Kota Iskandar on Monday (April 15).
Former Mentri Besar Datuk Osman Sapian had tendered his resignation to Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad on April 8. - Star
