Selangor PAS chief, Sallehen Mukhyi claims as reported in the Malaysia Gazette that since the Malays are the majority, only the Malays are entitled to hold the top post or position in the government and if this is not adhered to, racial clashes could happen anytime.
Huru-Hara Jika Golongan Minoriti Perintah Negara
(Malaysia Gazette) - Masyarakat Islam Melayu khususnya generasi muda perlu menyedari bahawa Malaysia sepatutnya ditadbir dan diuruskan oleh pemimpin yang…
Does this Sallehen realize that the majority tax payers in Malaysia are the non-Malays.
Furthermore, Tabung Haji dan Felda which were managed by the Malays is now considered "bankrupt", and if not for public monies in Billions being injected, these institutions would have to wind-up causing major hardship to the Malays themselves.
The most important criteria for any position should be capability, honesty, hardworking and farsightedness. If any Malaysian irrespective of their race and religion, fit these criterias, he or she should be given that position. It is agreed that if a Malay fits these criterias, then he must surely be selected.
The foremost importance is to see Malaysia progressing in the right direction with unity and harmony among all the races in Malaysia.
One thing that all Malaysians must do is to stop provoking or inciting about race and religion and start to live as one united happy family.
Once we can achieve this, we all can live a happy and prosperous life together. - Mohd. Kamal Abdullah
