Susanna Liew is hoping for divine intervention after delivering a copy of the Human Rights Commission's report on the disappearance of her husband Raymond Koh to the Christian Federation of Malaysia (CFM) on the eve of Easter Sunday.
Liew said she chose Holy Saturday to meet CFM to get all the help she and her family need to put an end their misery.
"I think this is an auspicious time, because we are celebrating Easter, and yesterday was Good Friday. We have hope, like we believe that Jesus Christ died but rose again on Easter Sunday.
"We have hope that whatever we have been through in the darkness will pass," she told a press conference at the Council of Churches Malaysia in Petaling Jaya this morning.
"I hope we will get good news, and get the release of the people who disappeared, especially Raymond.
"We look forward to the hope that he and others will be released, and that the victims' families will have good news and at least have closure."
