It shocked the folks in Rantau this morning with a blue banner appearing stating "Jan Undi Keling" and with the photo of PH candidate Dr S. Streram.
UMNO fears that the Rantau voters especially the Malay voters are now having second thoughts of voting for Tok Mat this time around. Tok Mat had failed to look into the welfare of his Rantau voters for the past 14 years as Assemblyman.
A big group in UMNO also feel that if Tok Mat loses Rantau, Tok Mat would be forced to resign from the UMNO leadership, paving the way for a young, vibrant, dynamic, strong and forceful team to take over and rebuild UMNO and not "beg" others.
The police and EC should investigate immediately and take appropriate action on the appearance of this racist and hatred banner.
The current feeling on the ground claims that the PH candidate Dr S. Streram would be victorious in the Rantau by-elections results on 13 April 2019 since the Rantau folks want to see major change and development in their area which will uplift every ones lives. - Mohd. Kamal Abdullah
