'Shops in Tesco now, before this around the world' – Streram mocks 'Bossku'

RANTAU POLLS | Pakatan Harapan candidate for the Rantau by-election Dr S Streram has accused Najib Abdul Razak of being a two-faced politician and cited the former premier's shopping trend as evidence of this.
"Najib cannot be trusted. He is two-faced.
“We know that he shops in Tesco after losing the 14th general election. But the question is why he did not frequent Tesco before losing the polls?
“Before this, he was flying around the world on an alleged shopping spree,” he told Malaysiakini.
Streram said this when asked to respond to Najib urging the voters in Rantau to cast their ballots for the more experienced Umno acting president Mohamad Hasan in the April 13 by-election.
On a sarcastic note, the anaesthetician also claimed to be in the dark about “Bossku”, a moniker now synonymous with Najib.
“Who is Bossku? I don't know who he is. All I know is a two-faced former prime minister,” he added.
Unfazed by Najib campaigning for his rival, the PKR man said he is a much better candidate compared to Mohamad, a three-term Rantau assemblyperson and former Negeri Sembilan menteri besar.
“I am better than Mohamad. If he has 14 years of experience, I am with a former finance minister who was once regarded as the best in Asia (PKR president Anwar Ibrahim) and prime minister (Dr Mahathir Mohamad) who has 23 years experience (as premier).
“So who is greater?” he added.
Streram also urged Najib to explain how Negeri Sembilan could fall to Harapan in the last general election if Mohamad possessed a sterling record.
“Was it because of Mohamad's leadership or because of Najib. I hope Najib can explain this to the voters,” he said.
Mohamad had won the Rantau seat uncontested in the last general election after the Election Commission barred his sole challenger Streram from filing his nomination papers.
The PKR man subsequently filed an election petition, which led the courts to order that a by-election be held for the state seat.
Apart from Streram and Mohamad, there are also two independent candidates in the race. - Mkini
