CORONAVIRUS | Five Malaysians are among 35 Covid-19 cases recorded in Cambodia as of this morning, according to news reports.
VOA Cambodia quoted Cambodia's Health Ministry spokesperson Or Vandine as saying there are two new cases confirmed today so far, both involving Malaysians.
The three other Malaysians had tested positive for Covid-19 last night, along with six Cambodians who reportedly attended the tabligh gathering at Sri Petaling Mosque earlier this month.
"Their health is fine. There is no noticeable worry," Or Vandine reportedly said.
Overall, Cambodia has so far recorded 19 positive Covid-19 cases linked to the tabligh cluster.
Cases linked to the cluster were also confirmed in Brunei, Singapore and Vietnam, making the gathering a regional hotspot of infections.
