Full list: Services that can operate during movement control order period

Malaysiakini
CORONAVIRUS | The National Security Council (NSC) has released a detailed guide on services allowed to operate during the movement control order period, which begins today.
Among the 23 "essential services" listed are hotels, homestays and paid accommodations.
Such services are allowed to remain in operation during the two-week order period but guests must "be inside their rooms in accordance with the quarantine period".

An aide to Prime Minister and NSC chairperson Muhyiddin Yassin clarified with Malaysiakini that "quarantine period" referred to the duration of the movement control order period.
Food can only be ordered and served through room service at these premises.
Hotel facilities such as swimming pools, gyms, bars, restaurants and spas are not allowed to operate.

Meanwhile, the list also included a rule that grocery stores, supermarkets and wholesale markets must limit the number of people, per family, allowed at a time when purchasing essential goods.
The NSC also listed nine “non-essential services” that can operate during the same period.
Among them are car workshops, which are allowed to “operate at a minimum scale”. Towing services are allowed.
The NSC added that police and Rela personnel have been appointed to enforce rules during the order period, which was imposed to prevent Covid-19 from spreading further.
The movement control order will stay in effect until March 31.
Below is the full guide issued by the NSC:
