Malaysiakini

The Health Ministry has listed 41 new cases of Covid-19 as of 12pm today, with the official total at 238 cases.
Sarawak, meanwhile, has reported three additional cases, bringing the total to at least 241 cases.
Five patients are under intensive care and require breathing assistance according to the Health Ministry, up from four yesterday.
In an updated statement from 7pm, the ministry stated that of the new cases, one had a history of travel to Iran. Three others were linked to Case 33
"Case 33" is a 58-year-old Malaysian man who had direct contact with "Case 26". He is also being treated in Sungai Buloh.
The remaining 37 cases are linked to the cluster of cases from the tabligh gathering at a Sri Petaling mosque. All of the Sarawak cases are also linked to this gathering.
Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah informed the press that all 41 cases are linked to the cluster of cases from the tabligh gathering at a Sri Petaling mosque. All of the Sarawak cases are also linked to this gathering.
In a separate tweet, Noor Hisham said the mosque in Sri Petaling was closed to outsiders.
He clarified with Malaysiakini later that the closure was just for disinfection.
"Students and tablighs who are in the mosque have been placed under home surveillance," he had said in his tweet.
The ministry estimated that 16,000 attended the ijtima’ tabligh gathering at the Kuala Lumpur mosque from Feb 27 to Mar 1.
Of this figure, about 14,500 are believed to be Malaysian.
The ministry has urged the people not to spread unverified information about the gathering to protect public harmony.
In a later press statement, Noor Hisham said as of 7pm tonight, 4,942 of those who attended the Sri Petaling mosque gathering have been identified.
3,069 have gone to for screening at health clinics, and 1,634 of them are showing respiratory symptoms.
Of those screened, 137 were referred to the hospital while 2,932 have been ordered to undergo self-quarantine for 14 days.
Brunei's Health Ministry has reported three new cases of Covid-19 today, bringing the total to 40. All cases in Brunei are related to the tabligh gathering.

Meanwhile, two more Covid-19 patients in Malaysia have been cured. They are Patients 35 and 61, bringing the total cured to 35 people. - Mkini
