CORONAVIRUS | The Health Ministry is seeking assistance to help it deal with the Covid-19 outbreak.
"We really welcome any medical assistance, medical-related contributions, or medical collaborations that can be offered by any quarters, including NGOs," it said in a statement today.
It said all offers to assist can be emailed to cprc@moh.gov.my so that the ministry can coordinate the assistance.
The ministry had earlier listed 41 new cases of Covid-19 as of 12pm today, with the official total at 238 cases.
Sarawak, meanwhile, has reported three additional cases, bringing the total to at least 241 cases.
Meanwhile, the Health Ministry has advised groups or organisations that are planning to visit vulnerable communities, such as the Orang Asli, to postpone their plans.
This is to reduce the risk of Covid-19 reaching these communities.
The ministry said it will continue to provide medical assistance to these communities through their outreach programme. - Mkini
