CORONAVIRUS | Petaling Jaya, Lembah Pantai and Hulu Langat are the top three districts in the country which recorded a high number of Covid-19 positive cases, according to the Health Ministry.
Health director-general Noor Hisham Abdullah revealed this through his Tweet this morning, where he attached the full list of positive cases distribution and mapping.
As of noon yesterday (March 21), the number of Covid-19 positive patients who came from Petaling Jaya was 96 people, followed by Lembah Pantai (90), and Hulu Langat (75).
Johor Bahru, Seremban and Titiwangsa are also on the red section of the list, with 52, 42 and 41 patients were recorded from the areas, respectively.
In the Borneo, Sabah also recorded relatively high number of cases in two districts, namely Tawau (37) and Lahad Datu (32), while in Sarawak, its capital Kuching recorded 30 cases.
On Saturday, the country recorded a spike in number of deaths related to Covid-19, from a total of three the previous day to eight.
The total number of positive cases have also went up to a total 1,183 as of noon Saturday, an increase of 153 from Friday.
