CORONAVIRUS | Umno Youth chief Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki has gone for Covid-19 testing and is placing himself and his family under self-quarantine.
This is after Bandar Kuching MP Kelvin Yii tested positive for the virus today.
In a Facebook post, Asyraf (above) said he and Yii had been panellists together on a Sinar Harian forum on March 12.
A photo he shared shows the two politicians sitting side by side.
"Pray that myself and my family are protected from Covid-19," Asyraf said.
Yii, who is a medical doctor, earlier said he is still asymptomatic and in stable condition.
He said he was informed that as he has been asymptomatic for the past two weeks, the risk of him being highly infectious is much lower.
The DAP lawmaker had been in contact with Sarikei MP Wong Ling Biu on March 2.
The latter was the first MP to test positive for the virus. - Mkini
