COVID-19 | The Health Ministry reported 4,046 new Covid-19 cases today, bringing the cumulative infections to 2,824,973.
This is the first time new cases have cross the 4,000 mark since Dec 18. As of yesterday, the R-naught was 1.00.
However, the number of hospital admissions of confirmed Covid-19 patients over the past seven days have decliend by 19.2 percent compared to the preceding week.
The breakdown of new cases according to state will only be available after midnight. These are the figures for yesterday when 3,764 new cases were reported:

Notably, the number of new cases in Kuala Lumpur have not been this high since September 17 last year.
