COVID-19 | The Health Ministry reported 3,010 new Covid-19 cases today, bringing the cumulative infections to 2,808,347.
Nationally, the number of hospital admissions of confirmed Covid-19 patients in the last seven days has declined by 7.5 percent compared to the preceding week.
The Health Ministry will only publish today's breakdown of new cases by states after midnight on its CovidNow portal.
The breakdown by states for yesterday (Jan 15), when 3,074 new cases were reported, is as follows:
Selangor (837) Johor (419) Kuala Lumpur (276) Sabah (265) Kedah (209) Penang (200) Kelantan (195) Pahang (195) Malacca (154) Perak (120) Negeri Sembilan (111) Terengganu (57) Labuan (15) Sarawak (13) Putrajaya (5) Perlis (3)
