Covid-19 (Jan 15): 3,074 cases, slight uptrend in Klang Valley

 

COVID-19 | The Health Ministry reported 3,074 new Covid-19 cases today while hospital admissions are generally reducing.

The Health Ministry will only publish the breakdown of new Covid-19 cases according to state after midnight. The figures for yesterday (Jan 14), where 3,346 new cases were reported, are as follow:

Notably, the new cases in the Klang Valley averaged 1,174 cases over the past seven days, up 16.8 percent compared to the previous period.

However, hospitalisation rates remain moderate (61.4 percent utilisation rate).
