PETALING JAYA: Former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad is in stable condition and is responding well to treatment at the National Heart Institute (IJN), his daughter Marina Mahathir said today.
She said her father had been at the institute for the past two days to receive treatment following an elective procedure performed on Jan 8.
“His condition is now stable and he is responding well to treatment.”
She said her mother Dr Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali and family requested that the people pray for Mahathir’s full recovery soon.
