PETALING JAYA: Johor Umno deputy chief Nur Jazlan Mohamed has resigned as chairman of Fast Energy Holdings Bhd effective yesterday, the company said.
This is the second public-listed company (PLC) the former Pulai MP has resigned from in as many days, having earlier stepped down as chairman of Kanger International Bhd.
The 55-year old had been appointed by Fast Energy Holdings in November 2020.
According to filings with Bursa Malaysia, Nur Jazlan cited personal commitments as the reason behind his resignation from both companies, The Edge reported.
Nur Jazlan served as deputy home minister from July 2015 to May 2018. He was also Public Accounts Committee (PAC) chairman between June 2013 and July 2015. - FMT
