PARLIAMENT | Putrajaya has tabled its first supplementary supply bill in 2022.
The government sought Parliament's approval to add RM8.4 billion to 2021's budget.
This will increase Putrajaya's budget by 2.6 percent, up from RM322.5 billion approved in December 2020.
The breakdown of the additional expenditure is as follows:
Election Commission - RM67.7 million
Treasury General Services - RM4.7 billion
Contributions to Statutory Funds - RM3.1 billion
Domestric Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry - RM539.7 million
Further explanations on the bill are expected when it is debated during the ongoing Dewan Rakyat session.
