Former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak will be the keynote speaker and guest of honour at a business conference in Penang on Friday.
The event is known as the 2022 Penang International Business and Investment Summit (Pibis) and is organised by the International Strategy Institute (ISI).
So far, ISI has not released the list of speakers for the one-day event, to be held at the Setia Spice convention centre.
After the conference, Najib will be the guest of honour at the invite-only gala dinner.
Najib played similar roles at the ISI-organised World Chinese Economic Forum (WCEF) that was held in Kuala Lumpur last December.
The WCEF on the other hand did release the list of speakers before the event.

ISI was founded by Cheah Chyuan Yong, who prior to organising business networking events, was a supplier of amusement park machines.
The inaugural Pibis was held in February 2019 where the keynote speaker was PKR's Anwar Ibrahim.
Meanwhile, Malaysiakini has learnt that immediately after the opening ceremony at Pibis, Najib will make his way to a gathering of Chinese guilds at the Teoh Kongsi in Georgetown followed by prayers at the Sungai Rambai mosque.
In the afternoon, he will be visiting the Insadunia Food Court and Jelutong night market before returning to the Setia Spice for the gala dinner. - Mkini
