Chong retains Sarawak DAP chairmanship

 

Stampin MP Chong Chieng Jen has been re-elected as Sarawak DAP’s chairman for the 2024-2027 term.

PETALING JAYA: 

Stampin MP Chong Chieng Jen was re-elected as Sarawak DAP’s chairman for the 2024-2027 term during the state chapter’s elections today.

Three-term Lanang MP Alice Lau has been elected as deputy chairman and Mas Gading MP Mordi Bimol is vice-chairman.

Alan Ling continues his role as the state DAP secretary, supported by Larry Asap as assistant secretary.

Meanwhile, Chiew Chiu Sing takes up the treasurer’s post.

Pending assemblyman Violet Yong has been appointed organising secretary, with Teng Mee Hing and Roderick Wong serving as assistant organising secretaries.

Also in the state lineup is Bandar Kuching MP Dr Kelvin Yii, who has been elected publicity secretary, with Michael Kong supporting him as assistant publicity secretary.

The position of director of political education is held by Chang Oi Ling.

Other members of the committee are Tan Kok Ping, Sim Kiat Leng, Lam Li Kang, Stanley Chiew and Paul Ling. - FMT
