Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin has refused to elaborate or show documentary proof he claimed he has over his accusation that the opposition is planning to "disrupt the upcoming polls by creating disorder".
"Wait until the time is right," was all he would say when asked when he would reveal the evidence, he claimed, will back his allegation.
Muhyiddin spoke to reporters after announcing Malaysia's 12 national laureate in Putrajaya today.On Wednesday, national news agency Bernamaquoted Muhyiddin as saying that the opposition pact is planning to disrupt the smooth running of the upcoming 13th general election by creating disorder in the country.
He claimed information gathered from “reliable documents” revealed that opposition parties were planning to do so because they were now shaken by the increasing support by the people for Barisan Nasional (BN).
"Like ( PKR adviser) Anwar Ibrahim said, if he loses in this election, it is because of manipulation by the Election Commission (EC).
“When he wins, he never says that the EC cheats the people, but when he feels like he is going to lose and his dream of becoming prime minister cannot be realised, then he starts making the prediction," Muhyiddin reportedly said during a speech in Hulu Selangor.
