KUALA LUMPUR, March 8 — Malaysia will always defend women’s rights, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak said today.
In conjunction with the Women’s Day 2013 today, Najib took the opportunity, through his Twitter account, to convey his wishes and gratitude to women.
“Today, we celebrate that which is strong, kind & nurturing. I’m proud to proclaim Malaysia a defender of their (women) rights,” he said in his latest tweet.
International Women’s Day, celebrated today, is a global day celebrating the economic, political and social achievements of women, past, present and future. – Bernama
