Rafizi: Police practising double standards
PKR says the police are practising double standards by not taking action on the protesters who hurled eggs, sticks and other things at its headquarters yesterday.
Party director of strategy Rafizi Ramli (left) claimed today that some of those who hurled the missiles yesterday were known to be Umno and BN members.
"The Tropicana police station is only two doors away from the PKR headquarters and the police yesterday were not seen to be taking action... they stood as bystanders during the whole incident.
"The protesters even warned about burning down the PKR headquarters and this is criminal intimidation that should have been acted on. The police should have taken action against them, not practise double standards," Rafizi said.
He named two of the protesters as Mohd Azri Said Mas and Wan Indra Putra Ahmad and showed images of them wearing BN shirts and the T-shirts they used yesterday.
