Despite being placed at the helm of the Federal Territories and Urban Well-being Minister ,when majority of the constituencies have voted for Pakatan, Tengku Adnan has no qualms to say that the Federal Government has no obligation towards the fire victims who come from a constituency that is under the Opposition.
May I repeat, what kind of a pariah minister does Najib Tun Razak have in his present cabinet? Where did Tengku Adnan obtain his education? Did he get a recycled degree from the University of Pudu Raya?
I am appalled that such a senior Umno Baru minister could say such a thing. This is the result of many years of Umno Baru culture being cultivated by the Mamak Prime Minister. They have no brains and no qualms to shoot out of their mouths.
No service? Then don't tax the people
I wish to reiterate that, if the Federal Government has no obligations towards a constituency that had voted for Pakatan, then the Federal Government should not collect taxes from the constituents in 89 parliamentary seats that have voted against the pariah Federal Government.
When their Member of Parliament, Chua Tian Chang (aka Tian Chua) appealed on the behalf of a group of fire victims from Sentul who were moved out of their temporary shelter at Pusat Komuniti Taman Ibukota today, at the very least Tengku Adnan should try to look for a few suitable locations and help to solve the plight of the victims.
Tian is right that the victims have every reason to be upset, if not disgusted, when the pariah minister visited the constituency. In fact, they should even kick Tengku Adnan out of the constituency given his attitude as a federal cabinet minister!
As Rakyat of this country, we strongly demand Tengku Adnan to retract his statement, which is a dangerous precedent when someone of his low IQ is allowed to set for future leaders.
This is one major reason why UMNO Baru, the monster created by Dr Mahathir Mohamad, is now a four-letter word in most households than what it used to be during the late Tunku’s era.
