KOTA BARU: The unemployed man who was shot at 5.50am in Pasir Putih today, died this afternoon at the Universiti Sains Malaysia hospital in Kubang Kerian here.
State Deputy Police chief Datuk Mazlan Lazim confirmed that the victim Amirul Tajo Nasir, 40, died at 1.20pm.
Amirul Tajo Nasir, 40, was having a drink at a shop in Kampung Gong Mengkeleh when two men on a motorcycle stopped near the shop and shot him in the stomach and buttocks.
A housewife, Nor Hadiyana Zakaria, a shop assistant there was shot in the leg and was admitted to the orthapaedic ward at the same hospital.
