OH NO! Najib taking another leaf from ISRAEL with 'Endless Possibilities'

OH NO! Najib taking another leaf from ISRAEL with 'Endless Possibilities'
Whether or not it is a cruel coincidence that has befallen prime minister Najib Razak, Malaysians can brace themselves for another political storm.

This time, it centres on the government's latest 'branding plan' called "Endless Possibilities", which Najib said would complement the 1Malaysia slogan.

But several blogs have been busy surfing the net, with possibly disastrous outcome for Najib. Harakahdaily can now confirm that this is exactly the phrase used by the Israeli tourism ministry (right), as shown on its mini website to promote the Zionist state to outsiders (see here).

Not long ago, '1Malaysia' had put government leaders on the defensive, and it was not only due to the involvement of an Israeli-linked public relations firm Apco Worldwide, which billed the government millions of dollars in fees to polish Barisan Nasional's image shortly after Najib took over as prime minister in 2009.

It was the discovery a year later of a similar slogan, "One Israel", used by former Israeli leader Ehud Barak, which provided plenty of ammunition to cynics.

Then, opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim told parliament that Apco had played a similar advisory role in conceptualising Barak's "One Israel", a charge strongly denied by the public relations giant, whose list of clients is populated by dictators and governments suffering from legitimacy issues among their peoples.

When first reported by news site The Malaysian Insider that the slogan “Endless Possibilities” was to replace the failed 1Malaysia battlecry, Najib quickly assured that 1Malaysia was here to stay, and that "Endless Possibilities" was just to complement it.

"Endless Possibilities" will officially take off on September 17, a day after Malaysia Day celebrations. But will it land safely without crashing on the political landscape? That is a possibility Malaysians can only wait and see.
