SERDANG: A rotting body believed to be of an Indian national was found within the bushes near Jalan Puteri 2/4, Bandar Puteri in Puchong here last night.
Slumped and shirtless, the body of the man in his 40's was only clad in a pair of pants when discovered around 9.30pm.
A police spokesperson said apart from a passport, also found on it were papers that identified him as a staff at a premise addressed in Jalan Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur.
"Initial checks by the forensics team found no injuries on the body, and there was no weapon found nearby,
"The deceased was estimated to have died about four to five days ago," he said, adding that police believed the death had no criminal element.
The body was sent to Serdang Hospital for a post-mortem which was expected to be done today.
"As the exact cause of death is yet to be determined, it is classified as sudden death for now," he added when contacted last night.
