IPOH - The 12-year old girl who consumed bleach after her application for MyKad was allegedly rejected by the National Registration Department two months ago, was presented with her MyKad today.
She received the document from state NRD director Mohd Zahari Hassan at the latter's office at 12:30pm today.
The girl who was discharged from the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital at 6.30pm yesterday looks healthy and were accompanied by mother and scores of opposition lawmakers.
Mohd Zahari advised parents who facing problems when making MyKad application for their children to consult the department's senior officers instead of third parties.
