Sungai Limau
The voters here represent not only Kedahans but all Malaysians, they have a big responsibility here to send the message that we reject BN policies which are not pro-rakyat.

Leaders will change if the people change. The culture of abusing government machineries for BN campaign will be stopped if the people take the approach of opposing such abuses. Whistle
Last Wednesday, I distributed whistles to women in USJ11 so that they would be able to raise the alarm in an emergency. The police themselves have also admitted that it is a good and effective move in deterring snatch thieves. Besides being an effective deterrent, it also helps the community to feel safe.

GST
But I knew that income levels of people had generally to be raised before the GST could be imposed so that people at the lower end of the scale would not be unduly punished.

The Herald appeal
Lest it be forgotten, the Bar Council, which is the executive body of the Malaysian Bar, represents the entire Malaysian Bar, comprising of Muslim and non-Muslim members. In the circumstance, we wish to caution the Bar Council against taking any partisan stand in disregard of the sensitivities of the thousands of Muslim members of the Bar.

Democracy
Now it’s PAS’s turn to vote for a new leadership. From the start, it is clear that democracy is more robust in PAS as compared to UMNO.
