GEORGE TOWN - Two primary schoolgirls were almost kidnapped by three men at a school in Batu Lanchang here yesterday.
In the 2pm incident on Thursday, the two nine-year-olds were dragged into a white van with tinted windows.
They were then bound by their kidnappers but managed to escape by biting them when the van stopped near a bank on Jalan Masjid Negeri.
The two girls then made their way back to school to tell their teachers of their harrowing experience.
Meanwhile, Northeast district deputy police chief Superintendent Abdul Rahman Ahmad confirmed a report was received on the incident.
