Jayakumar says 'there is no sabotage' calls for Pakatan unity to fight BN all the way.

KUCHING: A PKR leader has denied claims saying that the DAP, its ally in the Pakatan Harapan, had been bullying the party about seats to contest in the Sarawak elections.
PKR national vice-president Dr Xavier Jayakumar said today: “Our main enemy and the one that we want to bring a downfall to is Barisan Nasional and our focus now is to win as many seats as possible; our aim is to fight BN all the way.”
He said this when asked by the media for the truth behind seat negotiations, and about talk that DAP was trying to bully PKR in a dispute over a deal on which seats each party would contest.
Jayakumar said: “DAP is our coalition partner and they are also in the same struggle to bring down BN in Sarawak.
“There is no sabotage. Everybody should concentrate and as far as Pakatan Harapan is concerned, we want to get as many seats as possible, irrespective of whether they are DAP, PKR or Amanah.”
On Friday Sarawak PKR unveiled a list of 35 candidates and said five more seats were still being negotiated with the DAP ― believed to be Bukit Semuja, Simanggang, Mambong, Mulu and Murum, which DAP had already said it would contest among its 30 seats.
When asked if PKR would announce the other five candidates for the seats, Xavier simply answered “no”.
