PKR's Ijok rep hospitalised for heart problems

Ijok assemblyperson Dr Idris Ahmad is currently hospitalised for heart problems at Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur.
Confirming this, PKR Wanita chief Zuraida Kamaruddin told Malaysiakini that Idris had been warded in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) since Wednesday.
But she said the PKR leader is now in stable condition and has been transferred to a normal ward.
"Yes, now (Idris) is in Pantai Medical Center. His condition is stable.
"He was in the ICU since July 27, but now has been transferred out of the ICU," Zuraida said when contacted by Malaysiakini today.Idris is an obstetrician and gynecologist. The first-term assemblyperson is also the Federal Territories PKR chief.

The father of four contested and won the Ijok seat in the 2013 general election. He took over from Khalid Ibrahim, who was fielded in Pelabuhan Klang after serving in Ijok for one term.
Idris in May announced that Federal Territories PKR officially rejected the Citizen's Declaration led by former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
The declaration was part of Mahathir's 'Save Malaysia' movement to pressure Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak into resigning. - Mkini
