PETALING JAYA: A man from Sabah walked away a millionaire recently after winning the Magnum 4D Jackpot Gold first prize of RM10,639,750.
The 30-year-old called it a “dream come true”, as he had started playing the 4DJackpot Gold game only six months ago.
“I have been playing the 4D Jackpot Gold for the past six months. Previously, I used to play the regular 4D picks as well as the 4D Jackpot.
“It has been a truly overwhelming feeling since I won,” he said.
His winning number was for the March 14 draw.
The Sabahan said his winning number of 810713 + 18, was based on a dream as well as his lucky number.
“The 4D number of 0713 was my dream number, and I have frequently bought it for the past three years, and 18 is my lucky number.
‘I just combined them to play Jackpot Gold as the game offers up to seven prizes, so my chances are higher,” he said.
According to Magnum, the Jackpot Gold winning numbers are based on the 4D Game results.
Jackpot Gold comprises a 6-digit number and 2-digit golden number ranging from 00-19.
One can win the Jackpot Gold first prize if all the six digits and the golden number match the Jackpot Gold winning number drawn.
The newly-minted millionaire said it was not the first time he had been lucky in this new offering from Magnum.
“When I won small prizes in Jackpot Gold before, I continued to invest some of the prize money to play again.
“I also played mGold as I hoped to have higher chances of winning,” he said, referring to another game variation of the 4D Jackpot Gold game.
He added that the winnings will help him settle his house and car loans, as well as fund a family vacation, with the rest to be put into long-term savings to ensure he is set for life.
