Perak Pakatan leaders arrive at Istana Kinta to seek audience with Sultan

 

IPOH: State Pakatan Harapan leaders have arrived at Istana Kinta on Saturday (Dec 5) to seek an audience with Perak's Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah over the loss of confidence vote against Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu.

Perak PKR chairman Farhash Wafa Salvador Rizal Mubarak, state DAP chairman Nga Kor Ming and state Parti Amanah Negara chairman Datuk Asmuni Awi are expected to meet Sultan Nazrin at Istana Kinta here at 11am.

Nga arrived first at the palace around 10.40am, followed by Farhash and Asmuni a few minutes later.

It is learnt that Perak Umno chairman Datuk Saarani Mohamad will seek an audience with Sultan Nazrin at 11.30am.

At the state assembly sitting on Friday (Dec 4) morning, Faizal had lost the motion of confidence in support of him as the Mentri Besar.

Of the 59 assemblymen, Faizal only received 10 votes in favour, while 48 voted against him with one abstained vote.
