Minister of Foreign Affairs : What About The Safety Of Malaysian Students In Ukraine? Our Duta Has Escaped To Safety.

 

Yesterday I received the following very short video clip. It shows a small group of Indian girls which (I am told by the sender) are Malaysian students studying in the Ukraine. They are crying and appealing to be helped (obviously to get out of Ukraine). 

That one girl is saying that their location has been encircled with wire. 

I checked with the sender who says these are indeed Malaysian students.  They are saying that there are others who are stuck in basements, some without water and food. That there are explosions and bombs all around.  They sound desperate.

I believe Ukraine has asked for Malaysia's support in this crisis with Russia. However there seems to be no reply from Malaysia.

I hope our Ministry of Foreign Affairs can look into the overall situation of all Malaysian students stuck in the Ukraine.  How many Malaysian students are there in the Ukraine and what is the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or any other part of the 'Keluarga Malaysia' government doing about these students? Can we get a response?
