Serdang police chief AA Anbalagan said a woman had lodged a report about the 6.30pm incident.
“While the complainant was at work, she received a patient – a 12-year-old boy – who was unconscious and believed to have suffered an electric shock at a school in Serdang,” he said in a statement.
“The boy was pronounced dead at 6.50pm.”
He said the case has been classified as sudden death.
Anbalagan said that investigations are ongoing, and the police are awaiting the post-mortem report to determine the cause of the boy’s death. - FMT
