MIC deputy president M Saravanan has withdrawn his challenge for a debate on Hinduism with independent preacher Zamri Vinoth.
In a press conference here today, he said the decision was made after discussions with national unity minister Aaron Ago Dagang and MIC president SA Vigneswaran.
“This is for the sake of national harmony,” he said.
Saravanan also said that his invitation for a debate was for him to defend Hinduism, and that it would not have been a debate between religions. - FMT
